'Kaala', directed by Pa. Ranjith, features Superstar Rajinikanth as a gangster.
Shot in Mumbai and Chennai's EVP Studios, the film has been produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. Nana Patekar, Shayaji Shinde, Samuthirakani ('VIP-2' fame), Sampath Raj ('Mirchi' and 'Srimanthudu' fame) and Huma Qureshi (of 'Jolly LLB-2' fame), among others, are the main cast.
Dileep Subbarayan has done the stunts. Music is by Santosh Narayan. Murali G is the cinematographer. Sreekar Prasad is the editor. The film releases on April 27.
