'Kaala' heroine's connection with Thalapathy Vijay's debut

Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' teaser is as expected creating gigantic waves and is sure to break many records for viewing on YouTube. The film has Bollywood legend Nana Patekar as the antagonist and Easwari Rao as the wife of Rajini. There is huge curiosity about the background of the actress.
Though Easwari Rao made her Tamil debut in a movie called 'Kavithai Paadum Alaigal' in 1990 the film was a miserable flop. She was first noticed in a character role in Thalapathy Vijay's debut film 'Naalaya Theerpu' in 1992 and got the chance to play the lead role in Balu Mahendra's 'Raman Abdullah' opposite Vignesh. After that she did a few films and after her marriage made a comeback as Dhanush's sister in 'Sullaan'
Easwar Rao's next found huge fan following among housewives by starring in a daily serial 'Kasthuri' and has had a good stint on Television after that. However it must be a dream come true for her to star as Superstar Rajinikanth's heroine in 'Kaala' directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush.
