Superstar Rajinikanth's exciting new movie, 'Kaala', is directed by his 'Kabali' helmer Pa.Ranjith and produced by son-in-law Dhanush. The film will release in June or July next year.

As is known, one Rajasekhar had filed a criminal case in the court alleging that the original story and the film's title are his. After several hearings and listening to the arguments of both parties, the court has accepted the 'Kaala' team's plea that the case should be heard only under the Copyrights Act.

Rajasekhar has been advised to approach the Chennai High Court for further proceedings.

One blockbuster which was recently in the news for an alleged infringement of the Copyrights Act is 'Srimanthudu'.
