Actor Jeevan, who began his career with University, later went on to gain huge popularity with his villain act in Suriya starrer Kaaka Kaaka which won him a Filmfare award for best Villain and also scored hits as a grey shaded anti hero in Thiruttu Payalae and Naan Avanillai.

However his later movies like Machakaran, Naan Avanillai 2, Thotta etc failed big time, and he was last seen in 2015 in Adhibar. His Jeyikkira Kudhira is awaiting release, and now the actor has bagged a new movie titled as Asariri which is directed by debutant GK.

Reportedly Asariri is a scifi movie, which has Jeevan in a character named Viswamithran and the movie deals with Artificial intelligence and several scientific concepts as well as Puranas, and the movie has a major connect with sound, and hence the movie has been titled Asariri.
