The socio-political drama 'Ka Pe Ranasingham' directed by Virumandi which started streaming on Zee Plex on pay per view basis has been well received by both critics and fans unanimously. The film has Aishwarya Rajesh as a young widow who has to fight the system and a long red tape to receive the dead body of her husband from foreign shores". Vijay Sethupathi has played a strong supporting role with Muniskanth, Vela Ramamurthy, Arunraja Kamaraj, Rangaraj Pandey, and Bhavani Sre chipping in as well.

Suriya who has obviously been floored by 'Ka Pe Ranasingham' has lauded the film and has written in Tamil " 'Ka Pe Ranasingham' has realistically and boldly portrayed the plight of the underprivileged and poverty-ridden villagers who go to foreign shores for livelihood. It demands justice from the system and my heartiest wishes to director Virumandi, Vijay Sethupathi, Aishwarya Rajesh, Bhavani Sre, music director Ghibran, producer KJR Studios and the rest of the team".

Aishwarya Rajesh has replied in Tamil "Thank you for your kind words sir. Your appreciation has given us happiness, strength and encouragement.'.

Virumandi the director of 'Ka Pe Ranasingham' who is the son of veteran actor Periya Karuppu Thevar has also written the dialogues for Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' directed by Sudha Kongara which will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from October 30th onwards.
