This veteran cameraman K Vasudev of 97 films in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi films is back in action. He started his career in Tamil film from ‘Anna Kilai’ of actor Shivakumar and went on the stand behind the camera for 27 Tamil films that also include style king Rajinikanth film ‘Kavi Kuyil’. Vasudev also worked in the prime camp of Dev Anand Navketan Films.

The unsung hero K Vasudev is now coming back to Kannada after eight years. He began his career in Kannada from ‘Anuradha’ of Pandari Bai the first Kannada film to get subsidy from the government of Karnataka. He handled the cinematography for Kannada film ‘Rhythm’ in 2002 and now heading the camera department for ‘Shravana’ starring Vijaya Raghavendra and Gayathri Iyer.

K Vasudev mentor is RNK Prasad. He was the cameraman for the 48 episodes of RN Jayagopal ‘Ramayan’ out of which 12 episodes have been telecast.

The super fast change of film industry atmosphere the value for money and script going steep down are hard to digest now says the humble cameraman.
