K Productions ropes in Rahul

Rahul Tyson, who awaits the release of 'Venkatapuram' on May 12, has bagged an interesting project. K Productions, which produced Dhanush-directed 'Power Paandi' in Tamil, has signed him up for a Telugu project. It is to be directed by debutante Rangaraju.

The production house was admittedly impressed with Rahul's performance in the up-and-coming 'Venkatapuram' and decided to rope him in immediately. Since K Productions is known for its rich taste (it was this house which released the Tamil version of 'Baahubali-2' and are producing Dhanush's next in the direction of Gautham Menon, besides a period film starring Rana-Regina duo), Rahul has definitely got a shot in the arm. Rahul's movie is going to be their Telugu debut. This is going to be a graphics-significant movie.

The untitled flick will go to sets in July.
