Jyotika is one of the leading South Indian actresses and the wife of actor Suriya. She is also a producer in Suriya's 2D Entertainment banner. Though the veteran took a break in her cinema career following her marriage, she made a big screen comeback a few years ago and delivered her milestone 50th film last year.

Jyotika made her acting debut in Hindi with the Priyadarshan directorial Doli Saja Ke Rakhna (1998). Now, the hot news is that the actress is all set to return to Bollywood after 25 years. Last year, she signed the Hindi film, 'Sri', a biopic on visually impaired industrialist Srikant Bolla starring Rajkumar Rao. As per the latest reports, she has signed yet another Hindi film recently.

Sources say that Jyotika joined top actors Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan in a new Bollywood movie. Touted to be a supernatural thriller, the film will be directed by Vikas Bahl. The production houses, Ajay Devgn Films and Panorama Studios are coming together to fund this project. On the work front, Jyotika has completed filming for 'Kaathal The Core', her Malayalam film with Mammootty and for 'Sri'.
