After Jyothika, Santhanam to arrive in OTT?

The sensational topic being discussed by the Tamil film industry at the moment is the direct release of the Jyothika starrer Ponmagal Vandhaal directed by debutant JJ Frederick on Amazon prime, skipping a theatrical release.
After the announcement, theatre owners association threatened to ban the release of all Suriya movies in the coming days, and following this, a joint statement was issued by 30 producers in support of OTT release of small and medium budget movies.
Now, the latest news making the rounds is that after Ponmagal Vandhaal several other movies are planning a direct OTT release and one among them is the Santhanam starrer Server Sundaram directed by debutant Anand Balki. The movie which was supposed to release before three years, got its release postponed multiple times, and now reportedly the team is planning to premiere the movie on OTT and an official announcement might be expected soon.
