Fans and movie buffs who had dreamed of reliving the 'Kushi' moments with Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 61st film temporarily named as 'Thalapathy 61' will have to bear with this disappointment. Jyothika who was earlier supported to act with Vijay in this Atlee directed flick for the third time after the blockbuster 'Kushi' and the super hit 'Thirumalai' has reportedly backed out of the project.

The first official announcement about the star cast and technical crew of 'Thalapathy 61' was made out last week. The cast included the name of Jyothika which was being speculated for several weeks. But now the 'Chandramukhi' actress seems to have exited this prestigious 100th production venture of Sri Thenandal Films citing date issues.

Now the makers are looking for a replacement and the names being considered are Simran, Asin and Nithya Menne.

Meanwhile the shooting of 'Thalapathy 61' has begun last week in a set erected in ECR. Vijay has been taking part in the shoot. Kajal Aggarwal and Samantha are expected to join the shoot later.
