Jyothika’s answer to using swear word in ‘Naachiyaar’

Director Bala’s ‘Naachiyaar’ teaser had our jaws dropping when the film’s leading lady Jyothika swears at the end. The makers of the film along with Jyothika have been receiving flak from various corners for the same. Following the controversies around the subject reaching new heights, Jyothika has come out with an explanation.

The actress stated that the swear word was something which men use very often in films and that since a woman has utterred it for the first time, it has become a matter of controversy and debate among the people. Moreover the actress also revealed that her role as a police officer needs to be a bold one and such an expression was necessary to justify the situation in the film. 

Jyothika also believes and opines that fans will understand 200% the need and presence of such a dialogue after having watched the film.
