We already informed you that renowned actress Jyothika paired up with Malayalam superstar Mammootty for her upcoming film, ‘Kaathal The Core’. The official trailer of the movie debuted on the internet today. Directed by Jeo Baby, Mammootty Kampany has produced the project.
The close to 2-minute video opened with Mathew Devassy (Mammootty) contesting in a ward in a by-election after being convinced by others to do so. He who has a dysfunctional relationship with his wife Omana (Jyothika) faces a legal conflict after he contests the election. Kaathal The Core promises to be a gritty, intense drama from the looks of it.
The trailer didn’t reveal anything about the story but it gives a brief introduction to the film’s characters. However, Jyothika’s role remains mysterious in this featurette. We can expect strong characters and ravishing visuals in the film. It has music by Mathews Pulickan, DOP by Salu K Thomas and editing by Francies Louis.
