Actress Jyothika had a release last week with the movie Ponmagal Vandhaal directed by debutant JJ Frederick and produced by Suriya's 2D entertainment. The movie became the first Tamil mainstream movie to have a direct OTT premiere.

Also starring K Bhagyaraj, Parthiban, Pandiarajan, Prathap Pothan and Thiagarajan, Ponmagal Vandhaal is an emotional courtroom drama about child sexual abuse, and has received positive response. Now, after the good response to the movie, director JJ Frederick has posted an emotional message to Jyothika via Facebook.
