It's known that badminton star Jwala Gutta and Tamil actor Vishnu Vishal have been dating each other. They have formalized their relationship by announcing their engagement.

The actor didn't tell his girlfriend about his plans. When he came up with the proposal on Sunday night, Jwala was pleasantly surprised. She took to Twitter. "And this happened last night. What a beautiful surprise it was! Today when I think of my life, what a journey it has been!" the shuttler said, thanking her friends and family. "New start to LIFE.. Let's be positive and work towards a better future for us, Aryan, our families, friends and people around..Need all your love n blessings guys..#newbeginnings (sic)," the 'Ratsasan' actor wrote on Twitter.

Vishal was previously married to Rajini Natraj, whom he divorced in 2018. As for Jwala, she was married to Chetan Anand, the badminton player, before divorcing him in 2011.
