Palak Lalwani awaits the release of 'Juvva' this Friday. In this interview, she talks about her role in the movie, what she wants to do in future, and more.
How did this film fall into place for you? What's your role in it?
Director Trikoti had watched my debut movie, 'Abbayitho Ammayi'. He approached me with the role. I loved the story and accepted the role immediately.
I will be seen as a normal girl in the movie. The crux lies in how my circumstances effected a change in my thinking.
I am very happy with the way the film has turned out. We are waiting for the audience's verdict this Friday.
How was it teaming up with your co-star, Ranjith?
Ranjith is a cool co-star. He constantly learns at every opportunity. He evolved as an actor through the course of the movie.
What are your plans with respect to your future career? What kind of roles do you want to do?
I am a confident girl. I would like to do roles that talk about women's empowerment. I have been inspired by actresses like Anushka Sharma in this regard. That said, I am going to take up roles that are offered by directors at this stage in my career.
What are your upcoming movies?
'Juvva' took one year to be completed. In the year gone by, I also did a Tamil film opposite GV Prakash. In Telugu, I have done a film opposite another hero. They both are up for release.
Your father, too, is an actor. What have you learned from him?
My father has done Hindi serials. I have learned the quality of seeing hits and misses equally from him.
