Dinosaurs still rule the Earth! 'Jurassic World' has taken a monster opening across the world with dino-sequel to the 1993 'Jurassic Park' raking in a whopping $511.8 million at the global box office. This is record of sorts since the film has accomplished this mammoth feat in just one weekend.
Of the $511.8 million collections, almost $204.6 million have come from the US Box Office in its first weekend of release. As a result, this puts it right above Marvel's 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' released less than couple of months back and has also in turn set a record for the second biggest opening in the US behind 'The Avengers' (2012), which brought in $207.4M.
It looks like the Dinos are back and here to stay.
