- IndiaGlitz, [Tuesday,July 17 2018]
The second half of July is going to see a bunch of films releasing in Telugu. Different genres, a range of actors, and a set of directors (both new and old) are going to try their luck the coming two weekends.
Here we bring you the list of films hitting the cinemas this season on four different dates. Unless a film or two is postponed, at least nine films will arrive in the theatres in the coming two weekends.
July 20:
'Lover', starring Raj Tharun and Riddhi Kumar, is presented by Dil Raju. This rom-com tells the story of a bike mechanic and a nurse from Kerala.
'Wife of Ram', starring Lakshmi Manchu as Deeksha, whose husband has been murdered. Directed by Vijay Yelakanti, this one is a crime thriller.
Chandra Siddharth's 'Aatagadara Siva' is the remake of a Kannada film. A human drama with dramatic twists and coincidences, its theme is presumed to be ennobling.
July 21:
'Parichayam', starring Virat Konduri and Simrat Kaur, seems to be a riveting yet old-fashioned love story. Starring newcomers and set in picturesque locations, this one is visually aesthetic, if the Trailer is anything to go by.
July 27:
'Saakshyam' is a supernatural thriller made on a huge budget. Starring Bellamkonda Srinivas as the hero, Jagapathi Babu as the antagonist and the five elements as the witness, this one has Pooja Hegde as the heroine. It's directed by Sriwass.
Rahul Ravindran has turned a director with 'Chi La Sow', a rom-com starring Sushanth and Ruhani Sharma in leading roles.
'Pedavi Datani Matokatundhi', much like 'Parichayam', features less-known actors. This rom-com competes with biggies.
'Mohini', starring Trisha in the role of a vengeful spirit, is a dubbed horror flick with loads of VFX. Directed by Madhesh, this one is set in a foreign country.
July 28:
'Happy Wedding', starring Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika Konidela, may be said to be a family entertainer. This one is directed by Lakshman Karya.
