Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla, who rose to prominence with the 1993 film 'Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke', for which she also won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress, has revealed in an interview with a news agency that her children do not watch her romantic movies as they apparently find it "strange."

Juhi Chawla's children Jahnavi and Arjun reportedly refused to watch her movies even as her husband tried to convince them to watch Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke. "Actually, they are very embarrassed to see my films, especially the earlier ones. In fact, my husband (Jay Mehta) told them to watch Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke saying that it's quite a cute film. Then, Arjun asked me, 'Mom is there romance in that film?' and I was like, 'yes, it is a romantic comedy.' To this he replied, 'I don't want to see your films that feature romance. It gets very strange. So, I am not going to watch any of your films.' And that's it! They don't want to watch any of my films," the actress said, adding that the only performances of hers they liked were in Main Krishna Hoon and Chalk n Duster.

Juhi Chawla recently appeared in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga alongside Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She had also signed up to play the lead in Sharmaji Namkeen alongside Rishi Kapoor, but the shooting of the film was halted after Rishi Kapoor's demise on April 30.
