Singaravelan, a distributor of Tamil films had filed a case against the release of director M.Rajesh's 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru'. In his petition he has sought to stay the release of the GV Prakash-Nikki Galrani starrer on November 10 as he has to receive his dues from the film's producer T.Siva of Amma Creations.

The plea has been taken up for hearing by a Judge of Madras High Court who posted the hearing on November 10. The Judge also denied to entertain the request of Singaravelan to advance the hearing date as the film would have released on November 10.

The hearing on the case will happen on November 10 and the Judge as ordered Producer T.Siva to be present on that day for the hearing.

With this it has been confirmed that this case will not affect the release of 'KIK' on November 10 as announced by the makers.
