Jr NTR to attend Puneeth Rajkumar's last rites

The final journey of Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar is on today. A day after the popular actor passed away, his last rites are set to be held in the afternoon.
On Saturday, Jr NTR left for Bengaluru on a flight to attend the last rites. The 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' actor was close to Puneeth and even collaborated with him for a song in a Sandalwood film in 2016.
Besides the Nandamuri actor, a few other Telugu stars are also likely to attend the funeral. Puneeth as well as the Rajkumar family have decades-long friends in Tollywood. In an interview with IndiaGlitz, Puneeth once said that he is close to the families of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna.
Puneeth's demise at the young age of 46 has left many speechless and devastated. There has been an outpouring of grief from across India. From Pawan Kalyan to Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Allu Arjun and several others, they have made condolence tweets and social media posts. Puneeth's fans are shocked and many are taking to social media to express their grief.
