In an official statement, the team revealed that NTR sprained his left wrist a few days ago and has been immobilized with a cast as a precautionary measure. Despite the injury, NTR soldiered on and completed the shoot for his highly anticipated film, "Devara," last night.
NTR team posted “Mr. NTR @tarak9999 has sustained a minor sprain to his left wrist a couple of days ago while working out in the gym. His hand has been immobilized with a cast as a precautionary measure. Despite the injury Mr. NTR has completed the shoot for Devara last night and is now recuperating. The cast will be off in a couple of weeks and he will be back at work soon.” “In the meantime we request that speculation regarding this minor injury is avoided.”
The statement further assured fans that the injury is minor and the cast will be removed in a couple of weeks. NTR will be back to work soon, resuming his promotional activities and other commitments.
"Devara," a pan-Indian film directed by Koratala Siva, features NTR in the lead role with Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music for the film, which also stars Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in prominent roles.
