Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel's mega-action film goes on the floors despite rumours!

Director Prashanth Neel, renowned for his game-changing action blockbusters KGF and Salaar, had earlier teamed up with Jr NTR for a neo-noir action thriller. However, recent reports sparked a buzz that Neel was set to collaborate with Ajith Kumar, causing speculation that his project with Jr NTR might be delayed. Despite Ajith Kumar's manager clarifying that no such collaboration had been discussed, the rumours spread rapidly.

Contradicting these rumours, the much-anticipated project with Jr NTR officially began today with a grand launch event in Hyderabad. Mythri Movie Makers confirmed that shooting commenced with an auspicious pooja ceremony and announced that this mega-action entertainer is slated for a worldwide release on January 9, 2026. Photos from the event have quickly gone viral, fueling excitement across social media. The NTR - Neel project's tentative title is said to be 'Dragon'.

See you all on his land from January 9th, 2026 (sic). With Prashanth Neel also having Salaar 2 and KGF 3 lined up, it remains to be seen whether a future collaboration with Ajith Kumar is on the horizon.
