Telugu superstar Jr NTR paid a heartfelt tribute to his late legendary grandfather, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), on his 101st birth anniversary. Accompanied by his half-brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Jr NTR visited the NTR Ghat, a memorial dedicated to the iconic actor-turned-politician. In a touching video shared on X, Jr NTR was seen with folded hands at the memorial, later sitting on the ground in a moment of silence, undeterred by the surrounding crowd.

The tribute didn't stop with Jr NTR, as many members of the Nandamuri family joined him in paying their respects at the NTR Ghat. NTR was a multifaceted personality, known for his contributions as an actor, filmmaker, and politician. Serving as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for three terms, he left an indelible mark on the industry, with over 300 movies to his credit and three National Awards. He passed away on January 18, 1996, at his Hyderabad residence, leaving behind a legendary legacy.

Amidst his busy schedule, Jr NTR has multiple projects in the pipeline. He is currently filming Ayan Mukerji's War 2, sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham. Despite his commitments, Jr NTR took a break to return to Hyderabad and exercise his right to vote in the Lok Sabha 2024 elections on May 13, displaying his commitment as a responsible citizen.

Another exciting project in Jr NTR's lineup is Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva.
