Jr NTR condoles V Doraswamy Raju's demise

V Doraswamy Raju, the Tollywood distributor-producer, is no more. The veteran on Monday breathed his last due to cardiac arrest. He had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
Condoling Raju's demise, Jr NTR said that the producer had played a key role in the success of his 2003 flick 'Simhardi', which was helmed by SS Rajamouli. "It's saddening to know of Raju garu's demise. His yeomen services as a distributor and a producer to the Telugu film industry will never be forgotten. He played an instrumental role in the success of 'Simhadri'. Praying that his soul ressts in peace, I convey my deepest condolences to his bereaved family," the 'RRR' actor wrote on Twitter.
Raju made a number of notable hits on his banner, VMC Productions. Remembering his contributions, legendary director K Raghavendra Rao said, "We have lost Telugu cinema’s one of the most passionate distributors and producers. My condolences to his family."
Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments tweeted, "Condolences to Doraswamy Raju garu family. He was one of the most passionate distributors and producers of TFI. Rest in Peace Sir!"
