Jr NTR collaborates with Hrithik Roshan, YRF for franchise film?

It is reported widely on Wednesday that Jr NTR will be playing a pivotal role in 'War 2', a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film 'War' (Hindi). Ayan Mukerji, the 39-year-old filmmaker who last year was catapulted to the next level by Ranbir Kapoor's 'Brahmastra', will be helming the film in the capacity of a director.
Yash Raj Films is making 'War 2' as part of its spy universe. 'War 2' might also feature a reference to 'Pathaan'.
The news that Tarak and Hrithik will be sharing the screen space has become a pan-India entertainment news. Observers are calling it a case of casting coup.
It was least expected that a south Indian actor would be roped in for 'War 2'. Director Ayan Mukerji has kept aside 'Brahmastra 2' and 'Brahmastra 3' for this project.
For now, Tarak's full attention is on NTR30, directed by Koratala Siva. The film will hit the screens on April 5 next year.
