Jr NTR's absence explained, but trolls corrupt the joyous occasion

The Hollywood Critics Association has had to do assure Jr NTR's fans that the spotlight award that Ram Charan posed with recently in the US went to the film 'RRR', not just to the Mega Power Star. With scores of purported fans of Tarak continuing to digitally attack HCA members seeking an explanation for why Charan alone was given the award, a further clarification has been issued.
It is stated that the 'Aravindha Sametha' actor did receive an invite from the HCA. However, his team conveyed to the HCA that Taraka Ratna's passing away prevented him from travelling to the US.
"Dear RRR fans and supporters, we did invite N. T. Rama Rao Jr. to attend the HCA Film Awards but he is shooting a new film in India. He will be receiving his awards from us shortly. Thank you for all your love and support," the HCA said. They further added, "He (Jr NTR) was originally shooting a movie which is why he couldn’t attend. His brother's passing happened afterward and is why he stepped away from the movie. This is what his publicist told us."
Telugu cinema's proud moment reduced to ego battles:
It goes without saying that, by tagging HCA members and insulting them as if they have some hidden agenda, sections of Netizens posing as Jr NTR's fans have spoiled the party. 'RRR' winning the spotlight award and Charan getting to present an award to the winner of the Best Voice/Motion Capture Performance was an honour that Telugu cinema in particular and Indian cinema in general received on February 24. But the joyous occasion has been corrupted with unwarranted fan wars.
