Journey of Vyas: Brahmanandam looks seasoned in 'Panchathantram'

'Haasya Brahma' Brahmanandam has turned a Katha Brahma for a change. The legendary comedian is playing a narrator named Veda Vyas in the upcoming human drama 'Panchathantram'.
Marking his birthday today, the makers of the film unveiled a teaser video titled 'Journey of Vyas'. We see him participating in an All India Radio contest to narrate stories. His competitors are youngsters and his daughter has given up on him. Despite age catching up with him, Vyas is spirited to make a mark.
Talking about his character, the makers last year said, Brahmanandam garu's character will be distinct from the usual comedy roles that he plays. There is going to be drama and sentiment as well. As Veda Vyas, his character will be a highlight.
The film has Swathi Reddy, Shivathmika Rajasekhar, Samuthirakani, Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agasthya in other key roles. Produced by Ticket Factory and S Originals, it is written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka.
With music by Prashanth R Vihari, the film has dialogues by Harsha Pulipaka.
