A true polymath, K Jayadev marked his foray into filmmaking with the debut feature, 'Korangi Nunchi,' in 2022, a project supported by the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC). His directorial venture showcased his ability to weave compelling narratives on the big screen.

The late filmmaker was the younger son of the renowned senior journalist, KNT Sastry.
