Joseph Vijay aka Thalapathy Vijay is now the top star of the Kollywood film industry. Though the debate of who is the next superstar of Tamil cinema still goes on, Vijay has gained a huge fan base for himself and is ruling the box office like a king.

Recently he spoke in the audio launch of Varisu that he is his best competitor and he is trying his best to be a better version of himself. The video of him telling this to the audience went viral on social media handles a few days ago.

But now an old and first interview of Thalapathy Vijay to a national channel is doing the rounds on the internet. In the video, the interviewer was seen saying "Vijay Is Today, Undoubtedly Tamil Cinema's No. 1 Star."

She went on to ask who he thinks is his competitor. To which Vijay instantly said that he is his own competitor. Vijay also mentioned that he wants to give his best and present better movies to the audience.
