On day 1 of Lollapalooza India's second edition at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, the Jonas Brothers' India debut wooed the fans. Playing guitars, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas (married to Priyanka Chopra Jonas) created a unique musical experience.
Throughout the performance, "Jiju" (brother-in-law) was being chanted by his fans. Kevin jokingly said how everyone was calling Nick "Jiju," and it got more cheers for him.
Nick told the crowd, "This is our first time performing in India, and the sangeet doesn't count," referring to his 2018 solo performance at his wedding to now-wife Priyanka. He stressed his family's ties to India.
In the meantime, Joe and Nick crooned their hits, with King joining Nick for "Maan Meri Jaan ''. Their stage chemistry was superb, with a hug sprinkling even more energy. Nick dished out "Burning Up" and "Jealous."
Joe and his rock band DNCE performed "Toothbrush" and "Cake by the Ocean," with the guitar talents from the rock stars' lead guitarist JinJoo Lee sending the crowd home. The band went back to Camp Rock with "Gotta Find You," "Play My Music," and "Introducing Me."
And The Jonas Brothers concluded the night with fan favourites like "What A Man Gotta Do," "Year 3000," "Bom Bidi Bom," and "Leave Before You Love Me," proving their love for the Indian audience and dropping a hint that we can expect more such fabulous performances from them.
