Jomon T John, one of the most talented cinematographers in Mollywood, was the DOP of Vikram's new movie Dhruva Natchathiram. The talented cinematographer has now been replaced by Santhana Krishnan due to unknown reasons.Santhana Krishnan, son of popular and Nationally acclaimed cinematographer Ravi.K.Chandran, debuted as a cinematographer with the Malayalam film 'Two Countries'.
It was Jomon who shot the stunning teaser visuals of Dhruva Natchathiram and had cranked the camera for the first schedule that happened in Coonoor. Jomon had earlier done the cinematography for director Gautham Menon's 'Enai Nokki Paayum Thota' starring Dhanush and Megha Akash in lead roles. Impressed with his work, Gautham had retained him for the Vikram starrer too. But the sudden replacement has shaken the tinsel town. Jomon T John, a Kerala State Award winner has carved a niche for himself with his works such as Charlie, Ennu Ninte Moideen and many others. He last worked in Mollywood for Vineeth Sreenivasan`s superhit movie 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam' starring Nivin Pauly in the lead.
