2019's biggest global blockbuster 'Joker', released last year on Oct 2, will be re-released in India. Warner Bros. Pictures has locked the release date: February 14 it is.

Starring Joaquin Phoenix, it's directed by Todd Phillips. "Given the massive Oscar buzz around the film with a whopping 11 nominations including Best Actor, Best Film and Best Director and with Joaquin Phoenix bagging the Best Actor awards at both the Golden Globe and Star Actors Guild awards, Warner Bros. Pictures has decided to re-release the film for the Indian audiences four days after the Oscar awards," a statement from the makers says.

Here is the list of cities where the film will be re-released: Mumbai, New Delhi, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Mysore, Ahmedabad, Coimbatore and more.

It may be noted that 'Joker' has also been nominated for Cinematography, Costume Design, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Original Score, Film Editing, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Make-Up and Hairstyling.
