Yes, it has been revealed that Guru Somasundaram has played the lead villain in director Kulandai Velappan's 'Yakkai' starring Krishna and Swathi Reddy in lead roles.

Yaakkai` will portray Guru Somasundaram in a completely new and fresh avatar. or acting he can go to any extent, and it is our pleasure to have him onboard. Creating a dreadful situation is the main quality of our Yaakkai` villain, and Guru Somasundaram is perfectly carving it. The film has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and his songs and rerecording form the backbone of this film touted to be a romantic thriller.
