After the super hit movie 'Nayattu', director Martin Prakkat has teamed up with Joju George yet again for a new movie titled 'Iratta'. The movie was launched officially with a customary pooja last day at Elappara in Idukki. Pictures and video from the location have also surfaced online. According to reports, Joju George, Martin Prakkat and Sijo Vadakkan will jointly produce the film that will bring in several new technicians to Mollywood. More details regarding the cast and crews are yet to be unveiled.

The team's previous venture Nayattu which Joju George, Kunchacko Boban and Nimisha in the lead had garnered positive reviews from critics and fans alike. The movie was bankrolled by director Ranjith Balakrishnan, PM Sasidharan and Martin Prakkat under the banners of Gold Coin Motion Picture Company and Martin Prakkat Films respectively. Naayattu is scripted by real-life cop, Shahi Kabir, who wrote the thriller, Joseph, which took Joju’s career to new heights. He towered as the titular character, a retired police officer, who goes all out to unearth a crime. Naturally, the audience has pinned high hopes on the upcoming project 'Iratta'.
