Everyone who has watched '36 China Town' is unanimous in noticing one fact i.e. Johny Lever being at his best. His comic act has been amazing with the vintage touch pretty visible while his scenes with Paresh Rawal never failed to set the house on fire.

Success of the film would be sweetest for Johney Lever who has been facing tough competition from Rajpal Yadav for last few years. 2003 was the least year when he was the TOP COMEDIAN with hits like Koi Mil Gaya, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Chalte Chalte and Andaaz. But since then it has been all downhill with projects like Market, Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav and Saawan - The Love Season that hardly created any ripples at the box office. Overdose of stuck films like Banana Brothers, Humko Tumse Pyaar Hai and Khullam Khulla Pyaar Kare coming in quick succession meant that whatever good work he had done phased away unnoticed!

But with '36 China Town' bringing him a big league success once again, all eyes must be set on his next release 'Phir Hera Pheri' where he gangs up with the likes of Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty all over again after 'Awara Paagal Deewana' and 'Deewane Huey Paagal'!
