Famous actor shares picture of his broken finger after physical abuse by wife

‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ actor Johnny Depp has submitted pictures of him lying on a stretcher with a severed fingertip to a British court on Tuesday. The actor has alleged that his condition was a result of physical assault by his then-wife Amber Heard.

Regarding the incident, the actor claimed, “Amber severed my finger with the second of two thrown vodka bottles at me in the early afternoon of Sunday 8 March. Amber claims this was on the second day of a ‘three-day hostage situation.’ Amber claims that during these three days, I subjected her to a variety of what sounds like torture and other abuse. These sick claims are completely untrue.” In one of his earlier statements, Johnny Depp mentioned that he was on a private chartered flight in late 2014 or early 2015 with Amber Heard, when she became verbally aggressive. “Then she became physically violent and repeatedly punched me in the face. As I moved towards the back of the plane to get away from her, she followed me into the plane’s bedroom and punched me again in the face and the head. I pushed her away from me, on to the bed. I then grabbed a pillow and locked myself in the bathroom, where I slept for the duration of the flight,” Depp said.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard announced their divorce in 2016, and have been engaging in legal battles ever since. In his court submitted documents, Depp alleged that Heard defecated on his bed as “a prank,” and said that was the final straw in their volatile relationship. “While mixing prescription amphetamines and non-prescription drugs with alcohol, Heard hit, punched, and kicked me. She also repeatedly and frequently threw objects into my body and head, including heavy bottles, soda cans, burning candles, television remote controls, and paint thinner cans, which severely injured me,” he added, regarding the abuse he faced at her hands.
