Johnnie Walker needs no introduction as the Scotch whisky brand originated from Kilmarnock is famous all over the world, not to mention the logo of its bottles –a top hatted man-  the mascot is iconic. Now Diageo has announced a major move regarding the label's mascot in light of the upcoming International Women’s Day.

According to the announcement, the iconic brand will be launching a limited edition of the Johnnie Walker Black Label Scotch, only this time the logo featuring a woman Jane Walker in its label. Around 250,000 bottles will be made with Jane Walker images and the company has decided to donate $1 for every bottle sold to organisations that support women’s cause. Even though this is limited edition it is expected that Jane Walker bottles will make it mainstream soon.
