John pulls off a risky stunt!

In the much-anticipated Yash Raj Film, New York, there is a scene which has John rappelling down a 40-floor skyscraper. If you look closely, youÂll see that it really is the star hanging by a rope and not a stunt double. Sources have it that the hunky model told director Kabir Khan he wanted to re-shoot the scene, which had already been done using a double.
Khan was shocked but the actor assured him that he would try the stunt only after taking the appropriate training. The directorÂs biggest concern was the uncertain weather and/ or defective gear. But it seems on the actual day of the shoot, John carried if off like a pro, and the sceneÂs there to prove it. Looks like John is proving that heÂs more than just a pretty face!
