Over the last few years, John Abraham has experimented with different cinema. If 'New York' was an action thriller, 'Dostana' was a breezy comedy. In the interim he also did a sensitive film 'Aashayein' which saw a delayed release and pronto disappeared from theaters. However, it was way back in 2007 that he had played a romantic role in 'Salaam E Ishq' opposite Vidya Balan.

Today when he is ready with 'Jhootha Hi Sahi', it would be after years that he would be seen in a romantic film. Also, he seems to have gone through an image change in a film where the treatment seems to be totally different as well. Looks like it was an intentional call taken by all involved to give the film a look and feel of a Hollywood romcom, right?

"Absolutely. It was very clear from the beginning that a particular look would have to be devised for 'Jhootha Hi Sahi'. We wanted the best and we got the best. This is the reason why the film looks really grand. It has turned out to be a beautiful cinematic experience. Also, Rahman's background music is unbelievable. It is totally feel good and young", says John excitedly as just a few hours remain for the film to hit the screen.

Elaborating on the genre of the film, John says, "If you ask me, 'Jhootha Hi Sahi' is in genre of 'Notting Hill' and 'Four Weddings and a Funeral'. If there was any film that would have come closest to these films, it is ours. This one is indeed a very sweet romcom which has been made for universal audience."
