John Eyeing His Goal

John Abraham may be having trouble coming to terms with Salman’s moody ways and Bipasha’s wariness, but his stars continue to shine brightly. He replaced Saif Ali Khan in UTV’s sports action film ‘Goal’. The film is being helmed by ‘Chocolate’ director Vivek Agnihotri. John is a football freak who plays the game with a lot of passion.

He went to Germany World Cup to watch a game so that he could get more clued in on the actual feel of a big game. The film is going to be shot in Germany making it even more exciting for the ‘Dhoom’ star.

The film will be using the services of Andy Ansah, the famous football choreographer for the film. Vivek Agnihotri says, “It is great to have John on board, who himself is an avid football fan and a serious player.” UTV on their part must be hoping to make up the lost ground after their last outing ‘Chup Chup Ke’ didn’t turn out to be blockbuster like ‘Rang De Basanti’. ‘Chup Chup Ke’ was not a bad film, but releasing it along with ‘Phir Hera Pheri’ was a blunder. For, if the film would have been released on some other date, it would have definitely fared better.

It seems they’ve learnt from the mistake and redesigning their goals. Better luck next time folks!

''Shiva'' song repeated in ''Shiva''

The song in question is a fun campus number 'Jagdi Jagadi Jaa' that was picturised on Nagarjuna and his leading lady Amla a few moons back. Now it arrives as yet another fun number though the setting changes to a police station [yes, you heard it right]! Titled 'Chor Police', this similar sounding tune is primarily choreographed on Ninad Kamat [Parineeta, Dus, Zeher] and Nisha Kothari.
