With 'Force', John Abraham seems to have got the formula right when it comes to picking up an action subject in the season when the genre has been revived in a big way, especially after 'Singham' and 'Bodyguard'.

"Guess there is a time for everything and my time right now is to do action films," chuckles John, "I am going to do a lot of action films from here on. After 'Force', there is also 'Race 2' and 'Shoot Out At Wadala'. It's a good space to be in."

In fact for 'Force', John has gone through a major body transformation, so much so that he had to not just look tough but also put on so much muscle that it brought his body weight to close to 100 kgs.

"Blame it on my director Nishikanth Kamat, he was ruthless," laughs John while remembering the strenuous phase he had to go through in order to beef up his physique, "He had really high expectations from me. He said that he wanted me to look like a machine and put on a body type that was on the same lines as that of Sylvester Stallone in 'Rambo' series. Now I belong to a generation that has grown up idolising 'Rambo'. So while on one side I was thrilled, on the other side I knew this was a big challenge in hand because to gain a physique like Stallone is no joke."

'Force' releases all over this weekend.
