Whenever you hear action heroes claiming to try different roles you mostly end up with the same fights with some humor or drama thrown in.  But from the look of the trailer of 'Blockers'John Cena has well and truly done a different role with not even a hint of his proffessional wrestling background or action hero in it and what is more he is genuinely funny and utterly believable. 

In 'Blockers' directed by Kay Cannon, John Cena Lesslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz play parents of three teenaged girls who have a pact to lose their virginity on graduation night.  How the trio bumble and stumble on their way to preventing their kids from doing the thing is what the rest of the screenplay is apparenlty about.  If the fun quotient from the trailer is intact in the film then one can surely enjoy a guffaw on April 6th this year which is the release date.  Meanwhile enjoy the fun filled trailer here.
