In an event for Cricket Wireless, Cena was asked to read emotional letters from his fans whose lives have changed after being inspired by him. The 16 time world wrestling champion could not control tears and choked while reading a letter by a boy Tyler Schweer who said his mother fought cancer wearing a John Cena wrist band that the legend gave him on ringside in an arena. To the big man's surprise the fans were just backstage and all of them converged on him making him even more moved. Tyler's mother then announced to Cena that she is cancer free following his motto "Never Give Up".
