When John Abraham was told that 'Force' could well be his own 'Ghayal', seems like the makers were really serious about it. This is the reason why his act doesn't just include hitting goons with 'dhai kilo ka haath' or throwing motor bikes on baddies. There are quite a few verbal punches as well a la Sunny paaji though in John's own subtle style. Some such punches that could well prove to be controversial though are the ones that are directed at none other than Kasab.

"The film is much more hard hitting than the Tamil original Kakka Kakka. Also, it is much more contemporary as it even touches upon 26/11 and Kasab. There is an entire outburst scene where John questions government on spending crores on Kasab's security. It is like opening a Pandora's box because this issue is quite close to the heart of every Indian."

This isn't all as there is much more to John's character of a cop here. He also challenges the upper strata of the society and points out how powerful lobbies are backing people who are involved in drugs.

"Yes, this is the only time other than 'New York' where he is raising such questions via a film," the source adds, "He is opening a can of worms by stating how affluent society is involved in cocaine etc."

On contacted, John didn't deny that through Force, he has indeed made quite a few statements. At the same time he adds cautiously, "It is a very hard hitting film but then we also constantly reminded ourselves that it's a commercial film first. Hence it has to be entertaining and not preachy."

On asked about Kasab and upper society related charges, he said, "But is it really something which is hidden? I have spoken against what is wrong and if rich and high society are a part of a problem then let that be told. High time. And by the way for how long are we going to feed Kasab?"
