Right before the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic John Abraham was actively promoting the release of his film 'Satyamev Jayte 2'. The film has been on hold since a long time and makers were willing to release it on Eid as the situation was looking better than before. However, as the pandemic has caused lockdown yet again, makers of 'Satyamev Jayte 2' have decide to postpone the release of the film.

The announced, “In these unprecedented times, nothing matters more than the safety and health of our countrymen & patrons. Our film Satyameva Jayate 2 will now release on a later date. Till then let’s keep our masks on and do our best to keep our loved ones and ourselves out of harm’s way. Jai Hind."

The film was set to clash with Salman Khan's 'Radhe' which has been awaited desperately by his die hard fans. John's last theatrical release 'Mumbai Saga' was a disaster in the box office as well so it would've been a suicide to pitch this film agaisnt a Salman Khan film.
