The success of a movie depends a lot on its marketing and music is one of the best marketing tools for Bollywood films. Filmmakers often included party and item songs in their movies in order to create hype around the project. Actor John Abraham, who is currently busy with the promotions of his film 'Attack', recently shared that he doesn't like having item songs in his movies.
During a promotional interview with Tried and Refused Productions, John said, "Some of my music has been great. Jism, for me, is still my most favourite album. I think I have accidentally got very nice songs. But I have also got extremely bad songs. For me the real dagger that pushes me down is when I am told that I have to have an item song in a film. And I don't want to sound condescending towards it but that kills me. That really breaks me."
Despite his displeasure, John Abraham's movies often have item songs and most of them are usually performed by Nora Fatehi. His films like 'Satyamev Jayte', 'Satyamev Jayte 2', 'Batla House' and 'Rocky Handsome' all feature Nora Fatehi in provocative songs.
