Action star John Abraham will soon be seen in his highly anticipated sci-fi flick 'Attack' and these days, he's busy with promotions of the same. 'Attack' will see John in the role of a super soldier who is able to go beyond human limits in his fight against terrorism. While there have been several Hollywood movies about enhanced soldiers, this is the first time Bollywood is toying with this concept.
In a recent promotional interview with ETimes, John described the film as an amalgamation of 'RoboCop', 'Iron Man' and 'Universal Soldier'. However, despite all those inspirations, film still has a sense of originality to it.
John stated, "Even though we have made a hyper-real commercial entertainer, there is some factuality in the whole thing. It is our own story, but yes, there is a 'Robo Cop', a film called 'Upgrade', 'Universal Soldier', there is even an 'Iron Man' with this thing (arc reactor) here. There are so many films like that. Have we been inspired by all of that? Yes, possibly we have. But in the end, we wanted to create our own super-soldier."
'Attack' will release theatrically on 1st of April.
