John Abraham and Arjun Kapoor are going to star together in the upcoming thriller flick 'Ek Villain Returns'. Directed by Mohit Suri, this is a sequel to the 2014 flick 'Ek Villain' which starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Ritiesh Deshmukh. Like several other upcoming films, release date of 'Ek Villain Returns' has also been announced recently.

Director Suri along with cast memebers shared a new poster of the film which reveals that film will hit the screens on the ocassion of Eid i.e, July 8, 2022. Talking about the film, co-producer Ekta Kapoor said, "Ek Villain’ is back with bigger action, thicker suspense and double the drama! Ek Villain is Balaji’s most special flagship franchise and now Ek Villain ‘Returns’ to keep the audience on the edge of their seats."

Bhushan Kumar said, "We have upped the scale of Ek Villain to make Ek Villain Returns. The movie deserves an Eid release and I’m so excited that we are doing justice to the movie. You will not want to miss all the action that we have in store for you!”

Apart from Arjun and John, 'Ek Villain Returns' also stars Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria which makes it a really star studded affair.
