The shooting of 'Fast and Furious 9' came to a grinding halt as a stunt went wrong and stuntman Joe Watts fell from thirty feet to the ground and was seriously injured. His girlfriend and fellow stunt woman Tilly Powell has stated on social media "Joe has suffered a serious head injury and is in an induced coma. He is stable and is being monitored closely throughout the night. I love him so much and my heart is shattered. He has all his family and friends by his side to get him through this.
The accident happened as Joe Watts was reportedly standing in for hero Vin Diesel and he was supposed to leap from a high rise building and his body was attached to wires but the safety wires snapped and he had the terrible fall. Diesel is said to have immediately rushed to the Warner Brothers Studio in Hertfordshire, Southern England where the incident occurred and witnesses saw him shaken and almost in tears.
