I Gave My Best : Biden Bids Farewell to Democratic National Convention

Emphasizing Kamala Harris as a major component of his government, he said his choice of running buddy to be among the best in his career. After the speech, Harris followed him on stage to praise him for his leadership and service.
Knowing he would not be seeking re-election, Biden's speech concentrated on his legacy. Biden finished his speech with a moving phrase from a song: Let me know in my heart when my days are through, that America, I gave my best to you.
Hillary Clinton lauded his leadership for returning dignity and competency back to the White House. Cheers followed this emotional moment as Biden made what might be his last bow on a national platform before leaving to spend his last months in government.
